Why Celebrity Extend Their Suspension?

It’s not only Celebrity, most of the cruise line suspended their cruise till June 11, 2020 because of the CDC announcement. The CDC(Center for Disease and Control and Prevention) announced modification and suspension of No Sail Order for All Cruise Ships.

After this announcement of CDC all the cruise company modified their suspension and they extend till June 11, 2020. Carnival was the first who’s implement first on this announcement and second was Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd. Carnival and Royal modified their suspension before Celebrity Cruise.

Before CDC Announcement What was Their Expectation

On March 13, 2020 most of the cruise company released an announcement and said we are suspending our sailing for one month and we are expecting to return to service on April 12, 2020.

But On April 9 CDC announced modification and extension of No Sail Order for All Cruise Ships. After this announcement the Cruise company extend suspension till May 11, 2020.

And this time again Celebrity Cruise Modified their suspension and expecting to return to service on June 12, 2020. They cancel sailing of all the ships till June 11, 2020 because of global pandemic.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN’S EXPECT TO RESUME TO SERVICE ON MAY 12, 2020

Now, Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd, has announced a statement to extend the suspension of sailing of their fleet until May 11, 2020. Before on March 14, 20. they announce all the Royal Caribbean Cruise is suspending till April 10, 2020.

On March 13, they announced that it is suspending cruising in the united State from March 14 to April 10th, 2020. They said that time if everything will be good then we will expect to resume on service by April 11, 2020.
